Our Story

Entering the world of apparel and soft goods development and production can often be overwhelming. Delving in with an idea can bring more questions than answers. It is an industry with a history of being hesitant to offer up guidance or solutions. The Draft Shop was created out of a desire to change this dynamic. We believe that when people with ideas are able to connect with textile mills and distributors, hardware providers, and product manufacturers, ideas can finally become a reality, industry can flourish, and everyone gains a piece of success.

At the Draft Shop we believe the way things are made is as important as the things themselves. Beginning with good, thoughtful design, we take the time to create products ready for market. We work with small and medium companies to develop their sewn products to reach their full potential. Working primarily with local manufacturers we are revitalizing the northwest manufacturing industry one client at a time. Staying local allows us to keep in close communication and make regular in-person check-ins with factories during production, thus assuring products are manufactured to high standards every step along the way.
